Ayn Rand

Ayn Rand was born in Russia in 1905, but was able to escape to America in 1926; she died in 1982. She was a novelist by profession, and a philosopher by necessity, because she wanted to portray man as he could and should be. To portray man as a hero, she had to define a new code of morality, one that holds man's life as the standard of value, rationality as the fundamental virtue, and happiness as our highest purpose.

If you have already read her novels, read also her non-fiction works. You can find them in any decent bookstore. If you've read them too, then pursue happiness, grow rich, stand up for the true, reward the good, and enjoy every moment of your life; Ayn Rand did--and so can you.
